Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal information C2Consultants LLC ("we", "us") collects through this website, the IntentSharp evaluation form and the IntentSharp checkout, why, and how long we keep it. Questions, and requests to see or delete your information, go to licensing@c2consultants.net.
This website
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking. It loads no scripts, fonts or styles from other sites. Your browser keeps two things on your device, in its local storage, and never sends them to us: the light or dark theme you pick, and the text you type in the documentation menu's filter box, with the address of that menu.
The evaluation form
The form on the license service (license.intentsharp.com/evaluate) asks for:
- your name;
- your work email address;
- your company;
- what you plan to use IntentSharp for (optional);
- your acceptance of the license terms.
We store these with the date of the request, the time you accepted the terms, the id of the evaluation key issued to you, the key itself, and a normalized form of your email address and its domain.
We use them to issue the evaluation key and email it to you, to apply the rule of one evaluation per company email domain (or per address, for free-mail providers) in any 365 days, to keep a record that you accepted the license terms, and to answer you if you write to us.
We keep evaluation records for 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Checkout
Checkout runs on Stripe's hosted checkout page. Stripe collects and processes your card details; they never reach our servers. Stripe also collects the billing address it needs to calculate tax, and that address is held in our Stripe account.
From the checkout we receive your name, your email address, your company name, your billing country and the subscription you bought. We store the license issued to you: the licensee name, the email address, the edition, the number of developers, the dates, the Stripe customer, subscription and payment ids, and the license key.
We use them to issue and email your license key and its renewals, to manage your subscription, to answer support and billing questions, and as proof of license.
We keep paid-license records while the license and its renewals continue, and afterwards for as long as we need them as proof of license and for tax and accounting.
IP addresses
The license service uses your IP address, in memory only, to limit how many requests one network can make; it does not store it in its database. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs, which include IP addresses.
Who processes it for us
- Stripe: checkout, payments, subscriptions and tax calculation.
- Microsoft 365: sending license key emails, and receiving email sent to us.
- Microsoft Azure: hosting this website and the license service.
We do not sell personal information.
The IntentSharp library
The library itself collects nothing. It checks license keys offline and never phones home. What it sends to a model provider is what your application asks it to send, to the provider you configure.
Your choices
Email licensing@c2consultants.net to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We may keep a record of a paid license where we need it as proof of license or for tax and accounting.
