What a license key says: who it was issued to, its edition and its dates. Dates are calendar dates in UTC. Expires is the end of the paid term (or the evaluation); MaintenanceUntil is the last release a paid key covers: with a release whose ReleaseDate is later than this date, building a client with the key throws.

Creates a version 1 payload for one seat, with every other field empty or at its default.

Fields

UnlimitedSeats

The seat count that means "unlimited".

Properties

Edition

The edition the key was issued for.

Email

The licensee's contact address, or null. Informational: the library does not read it.

Expires

The last day of the paid term, or of the evaluation. After it a paid key is RenewalDue for 30 days and then Lapsed; an evaluation key is EvaluationExpired.

Features

Feature names granted by the key; empty when none. Informational: the library does not read them.

HasUnlimitedSeats

True when Seats means unlimited.

Id

The license id, shown in the license notices. Required: a key without one is invalid.

Issued

The date the key was issued.

Licensee

The person or organization the license was issued to, shown in the license notices. Required: a key without one is invalid.

MaintenanceUntil

The last release date this key covers. With a release made after this date, building a client with a paid key throws (VersionGated); evaluation keys ignore it.

Notes

Free-text notes from the issuer, or null. Informational: the library does not read them.

Seats

Licensed developer seats, as issued. UnlimitedSeats (0) or less means unlimited. Informational: the library never counts developers.

Version

The payload version. A key whose payload is not version 1 is invalid.
